How to care for your Jewellery

Every piece in our collection is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted by independent Greek jewellery designers. Handmade jewellery carries the character of the maker, making each piece truly unique.

To help preserve the beauty of your jewellery:

  • Store each piece separately in its pouch or jewellery box to prevent scratches.
  • Remove jewellery before swimming, showering, exercising, or sleeping.
  • Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, hairspray, sunscreen, and household cleaning products.
  • Put your jewellery on after applying cosmetics or fragrance.
  • Wipe your jewellery gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing to remove oils and moisture.
  • Keep jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity.

With a little care, your jewellery will remain a cherished part of your collection for many years.

HANDMADE & NATURAL MATERIALS

Many of our collections feature natural materials such as sea glass, gemstones, pearls, and enamel. As a result, slight variations in colour, shape, texture, and pattern are to be expected and are part of the beauty of handcrafted jewellery. These natural variations are not considered defects.

STERLING SILVER

Sterling silver naturally oxidises over time and may develop a darker patina, particularly when exposed to air, humidity, perfumes, or cosmetics. This is a normal characteristic of silver and can easily be removed with a soft polishing cloth designed for sterling silver.

GOLD-PLATED JEWELLERY

Our gold-plated pieces are crafted to be enjoyed for years to come. However, gold plating will naturally wear with regular use. The rate at which this occurs depends on factors such as skin chemistry, frequency of wear and exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, and household chemicals. This natural wear is not considered a manufacturing fault, and as with all gold-plated jewellery, the finish can be professionally reapplied by a qualified jeweller.

CERAMIC JEWELLERY

Our ceramic jewellery is handcrafted and paired with durable stainless steel components. While ceramic is lightweight and designed for everyday wear, it should be handled with care. Avoid dropping your jewellery or exposing it to hard impacts, as ceramic can chip or break if struck against a hard surface.

To keep your jewellery looking its best, clean it gently with a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Stainless steel is highly resistant to tarnishing, making it a durable and low-maintenance material for everyday wear.
